Facilities

Nodaway Farm retires horses on twenty gentle rolling acres, fenced with safe non-climb fencing into 2-acre pastures with sky-lighted field shelters. Moderate temperatures allow for nearly year-around grazing. Our barn is light and airy with box and oversized, rubber-matted stalls available with runs. We feed choice eastern-Washington orchard grass hay, rolled oats or cobb, vitamin supplements, and in the winter hot bran mashes with apple cider vinegar.

If chewing is a problem, your horse will be fed Purina Equine Senior and Special Blend Chopped Hay, and probiotic as needed to aid digestion. Everyone on the farm gets carrots, carrots, carrots, for treats and health, daily!
